On January 23, 2025, the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace in Madrid hosted the celebration of the great gala of Spanish tourism, known as “Q Night 2025”, organized by the Institute for Tourism Quality and Sustainability (ICTES). During this event, presided over by the Minister of Industry and Tourism and the president of ICTES, new certificates, quality renewals and Q Awards were presented to different entities.
In this important event, our partner Camper Park Playas de Luz was awarded with the prestigious distinction Q of Tourist Quality, the result of a year of hard work to implement and adapt its services to the Q quality standard. The certificate was presented by the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Jordi Hereu, and the president of ICTES, Mr. Miguel Mirones, who highlighted the importance of this achievement for the national tourism sector.
It should be noted that this is the first overnight stay area for motorhomes in Spain to obtain this certification, thus opening the way for other establishments in the caravanning sector to join the initiative and opt for this recognition. In addition to placing Camper Park Playas de Luz in a prominent position in the national tourist scene, the award reinforces its commitment to excellence, sustainability and continuous improvement of its services.
This important milestone reflects the joint work between the Ministry of Tourism of the Andalusian Regional Government and the ICTES of the Ministry of Tourism, who have promoted the implementation of quality management systems in the sector. Undoubtedly, the achievement of Camper Park Playas de Luz shows how dedication and commitment to quality can turn an establishment into a benchmark, generating a positive impact on the experience of travelers and the promotion of a more responsible tourism.
